This has to be my personal favourite out of yesterday's shoot.
Editing was minimum. Remove blemishes, even up the skin tone and that is it. She looks like a doll straight out of cam!
All time fav
Liyun is still my all time favourite model to shoot. Post processing is so much easier. She was kind enough to model for me as I try out some new lights that I have gotten recently.
All shots were done in a home environment. Appreciate T & Y for allowing me to utilize one of their room for this shoot. They have been very supportive of me in photography.
Strobist info : 1 reflective umbrella high above camera center.
After going through the photos, there are some inconsistencies between shots. Probably because the subject was moving slightly forward (approaching light) and hence a higher exposure compared to those whereby the subject is nearer the wall. Something that I have got to take note in future shot.

They have finally tie the knot. Am glad to be able to cover their ROM. And something for a change, the guys decided to have a go at the 'flower-grabbing' which has been traditionally reserved for the ladies.
Near accident
My driving confidence is at a all time low after that near accident during the driving session. Was attempting lane changing. Did check that the adjacent lane was safe enough for me to go in. Half the car was already in the lane on the right when another car tried to squeeze pass mine to change into my lane.
So it is like a criss-cross. My front right nearly brush into the other car's left body. Instructor had to steady my steering wheel. And I made the mistake of braking and counter steering to the left.
Sigh...
Thankfully no accident but it was close. :/
Another side of it
Was messing around with the processing. And this was a quite a surprise.

To Anonymous, I'm glad that my pictures are able to inspire you for the trip. Korea is indeed a beautiful country. Hope that you will enjoy yourself there too. :)
Over the years, my blog has gotten some really nice and interesting comments left behind by people whom I do not know. Really wonder how these people got to know my blog. In the strangest of the circumstances, I have even got to know one of those anonymous people who left comments on my blog in person. It all started with my Burberry's Black Label wallet.

Unreal world
It takes a clear head to navigate the complexities of this world. And yet, more often then, I lack one. I am almost drained of energy but I have changed into my running gear. Perhaps the only way to eradicate those thoughts from my mind is be completely deprived of any energy. Very much like the working of a computer RAM. When the power is cut, the content of it is being erased.
Thoughts on blogshop photography
The last blogshop shoot went about smoothly in general. We have utilized a small corner just outside their bedrooms. It was tight. Thankfully I had with me my 10-22. However the side effects are the lens distortion which I have to correct it during post processing.
Initially I don't have a very good feeling about this shoot. The blogshop creator will be modeling for the shoot and with all due respect I'm not very confident that I can achieve the look and feel that I was hoping for.
Despite the pessimism, after going through some trial processing, I was pleasantly surprise by the fact that the images aren't as bad as I thought. Some tweaking to the exposure and contrast was sufficient to transform it like as if it was shoot in a studio. What's left was touching up on her skin blemishes and cropping to taste.
The post processing was completed ahead of time. Guess I'm getting used to image retouching now. And since I still have some time on hand before I hand off the project, I did the collage for them as well as putting in logos.
The only thing that I wasn't too please about are the standard shots. The exposure was uneven and it would take me a lot of time to process it so I have decided to just stick to whatever I have.
I had some time on hand and decided to help them to create the watermark. The choice of font for their logo came from them. All I did was create the web address and pair it up.
After completing processing all the images and hanging over to them, I have to say, the end result was better then I expected. The fact that I have finished all the images ahead of time was another surprise for me. In short, I have no complaints about this shoot and I think the blogshop creator are please with the images as well. Hopefully they can continue their business and I can continue to work with them.
